First aid in the workplace is a mandatory training for all businesses—did you know that?
The CNESST is responsible for the administration and enforcement of the laws and regulations governing occupational health and safety in Quebec. Regulations on minimum standards for first aid (“Le Règlement sur les normes minimales de premiers secours et de premiers soins”) require the employer of an establishment or the principal contractor of a construction site to guarantee, on the work site and during working hours, a minimum number of first-aid personnel as well as an effective first-aid service.
As a supplier to the CNESST , Santinel can help your company benefit, under certain conditions, from the grant program supporting first-aid training in the workplace.
By training your first aiders at Santinel, you also benefit from our computerized system allowing us to inform you when your first aider certificates expire.
Do you need help to find a training program in your region? Do not hesitate to contact us by chat, email or phone. We will be delighted to answer all your questions.
Of course, rescuers need first aid equipment to fulfill their responsibilities. Whether you are in search of usual equipment or specialized equipment, such as automated external defibrillators (AED), we can assist you in selecting the right product. Note that all our first aid kits comply with the new standards in effect since March 17, 2021.
We also offer services such as first-aid kit inspection and filling, defibrillator maintenance and emergency event simulation. Click here to learn more.
Thank you so much! We liked our training very much. It was interesting and we have learned new things that we never heard in other training courses. The instructor was dynamic, interesting, and she was answering all our questions. Bravo!
I recently intervened with a lady who had injured her head. I was really surprised at how quickly what I had learned in my lessons came back to me. The craziest thing about the story is that my brother, who works in the emergency room in St-Jerome, was present when the lady arrived. He told me that my bandage had been done very well since the paramedics had decided to keep it for transport to the hospital. All this thanks to my lessons with Santinel!
