This training is designed to equip bus drivers so they can respond quickly and confidently in a medical emergency. A rapid response can make all the difference between school and home. It is intended for school bus drivers, as well as anyone driving a vehicle used to transport students between their school and home.
In this training, you will learn:
- Recognition of emergency signs in children
- Steps for intervention in critical situations
- Response to fainting, falls, or allergic reactions
- Use of epinephrine (auto-injector)
- Communication techniques with emergency services
- Airway obstruction relief
- CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
