Before and after classes, or during lunchtime, children are full of energy: outdoor play, extracurricular activities, sports… The opportunities for accidents are numerous.
Lunchtime also comes with its own risks: burns, choking, allergic reactions… This training is designed to prepare school childcare staff to respond quickly and effectively, ensuring student safety in any situation.
In this training, you will learn:
- Principles of emergency intervention
- Calling emergency medical services
- Primary and secondary assessment
- Adult and child cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
- Airway obstruction relief
- Use of an automated external defibrillator (AED)
- Shock management
- Management of severe allergic reactions (1.5 hours)
- First aid: respiratory difficulties, seizures, burns, head and spinal trauma, sprains and fractures, poisoning, heat stroke, frostbite, bleeding, abrasions, eye injuries
