First Aid in the Workplace training enables workers to acquire the skills and knowledge required to respond to a medical emergency or a work-related incident. Their training must be provided by organizations recognized by the CNESST, such as Santinel.
This course includes a “Wilderness” section, which covers all the necessary knowledge for rescuers working in the wilderness or in a remote environment. For example, participants will study more anaphylactic shock scenarios (patients not recognized for severe allergies). In addition, examples of accidents in the wilderness will be analyzed in class.

This course is intended for all those who need first aid training in the workplace and work in the wilderness or in a remote environment (i.e., more than 30 minutes away by transport from a pre-hospital emergency service).
